Although the world is full of iconic duos such as Mary-Kate and Ashley, Kenan and Kel, Tom and Jerry and RetroEnt and awesome retro content (*wink*), it’s fair to say that nobody does iconic duos quite like Stranger Things. I mean, there are more duos than we can count in this epic sci-fi show, and we can count to like eleven-hundred-and-fiveteen-or-something-or-other. There’s Eleven and Mike, there’s Dustin and Dart, there’s Max and the arcade game – and of course, there’s the Duffer Brothers. You guys rock. However, there are only so many times we can watch the first two seasons of Stranger Things all over again, so you might want to check out these other TV shows like Stranger Things that are at least an eleven out of ten…

With dystopian themes, creepy aliens, epic ‘80s fashion and a whole host of weirdness, Stranger Things is the new kid on the block that is ticking all of the boxes. Yep, we love this show so much we’ve even considered shaving our heads, filling our freezers with Eggos, and taking a trip to the Upside Down. Sure, we know it’s not a great place down there (#JusticeForBarb), but we just want to get to the bottom of this mystery. If you fancy doing the same but from the comfort of your couch, check out these TV shows like Stranger Things.
Westworld (2016 – Present Day)
If you love Stranger Things, you’ll love Westworld. Based in a dystopian world that meshes the Wild West with futuristic robots, Westworld is the show that will not only entertain you for hours, but it will also make you think about the state of the world. Before too long you’ll be asking yourself… What does it mean to be human? How do we know when to stop? What is left for us? Yuh-huh, it gets pretty darn deep. While there is no Eleven to save the day, there are certainly a few heroes who will try their best.
Riverdale (2017 – Present Day)
Looking for a TV show like Stranger Things? Look no further, because there’s a table at Pop’s with your name on it! This drama series follows the life of Archie Andrews and the rest of the gang who live in the small-but-weirdly-foggy town of Riverdale. After a shock passing rocks the town, a domino effect seems to bring everything crashing down after it. There’s destruction, there’s devastation, there’s deviance, and there’s a whole load of drama. Who will you side with? The north side? Or those dastardly Southside Serpents?
Wayward Pines (2015 – 2018)
If you’re looking for a TV that is similar to Stranger Things, we have a feeling that Wayward Pines will fit the bill. Based on a pretty awesome book series, this sci-fi show follows the life of a Secret Service agent as he makes his way to the weird and wonderful town of Wayward Pines in Idaho. After waking up after a horrific car accident, Ethan Burke finds his life turned upside down. His fellow agents are nowhere to be seen, and he’s stuck in a town with no way out. Quite literally. At least Eleven and the gang could get out of the Upside Down. This guy has no choice.
Sense8 (2015 – Present Day)
