Remember the ‘90s? The days where we didn’t have a care in the world, and simply watched Sister Sister all day, every day? Ahhhhh, good times.
Thankfully, the show may be coming back into our lives in an all-new revival season (and to be honest, we really need it right now).
The hit ‘90s sitcom aired from 1994 until 1999 and followed the lives of identical twin sisters, Tamara Mowry and Tia Mowry – and it was kinda like The Parent Trap. They were separated at birth and then reunited 14-years later in one epic collaboration. And we couldn’t get enough of it. So this news is hitting all the right spots.
The news comes after a recent interview with Tia Mowry for Nylon Magazine.
We’re looking, right now, for a producer and a writer, someone who can kind of be a leader of the pack in regards to running the show. I thought people would kind of be jumping on it, but it’s a lot harder than my sister and I thought it would be. Everything in my career has always been a challenge.
Errrrrr, WE ACCEPT!
However, it’s not hard to understand why they’re struggling, considering it’s the year of the revival. With the likes of Will & Grace, Twin Peaks, and Roseanne coming back onto our screens, there probably aren’t any writers or producers left in Hollywood.
But we hope they snap them up soon, because we need this, and so does the world. #BringBackSisterSister
