Where are Sabrina the Teenage Witch Stars Now?

Well Harvey’s all grown up now…

Sabrina The Teenage Witch was a TV show that every single kid who grew up in the ‘90s should have watched. And if you didn’t… shame on you. There was nothing better than getting home from school, sitting in front of the TV screen and watching a bit of Sabrina The Teenage Witch. If you didn’t really want to be a witch, have aunts like Zelda and Hilda or have a cat like Salem Saberhagen you were definitely doing your childhood the wrong way. But have you ever wondered what your favorite stars are up to now?

Melissa Joan Hart as Sabrina Spellman – Then

The star of the show, Sabrina, was… conveniently, a teenage witch! (Shocker) Before her time on the show, Melissa Joan Hart made a name for herself on the show, Clarissa, which she starred in for four years. In 1996, Hart began playing the role of Sabrina and ran for seven seasons until she finally said goodbye to her witchy ways in 2003.

    Melissa Joan Hart – Now

Nowadays, Melissa is still acting, but not to the extent she once was. After her time on Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Hart appeared on the reality TV show, Dancing with the Stars and appeared in the sitcom, Melissa & Joey. She is now a mother to three boys, and we really hope they have a black cat called Salem. That would make our lives.

Beth Broderick as Zelda Spellman – Then

Sabrina lived with her fellow witches, and aunts. Beth Broderick played one of Sabrina’s aunts, Zelda. Zelda was the brainbox of the family and always thought with her head before using her magic. Broderick played Zelda for six seasons before sacrificing her adult years to bring her niece back to life… (only true Sabrina The Teenage Witch fans will get what we mean)

    Beth Broderick – Now

After her time on Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Broderick went on to star in the TV show, Lost as Kate’s estranged mother and has recently starred in the Stephen King and Steven Spielberg TV series, Under the Dome. Apart from that, Broderick is living a fairly sheltered life… all those spells seem to have taken it out of her. We don’t blame her.

Nate Richert as Harvey Kinkle – Then

Who else really, really fancied Harvey Kinkle? Wasn’t he just the greatest and just so so dreamy? (ahem, excuse me). Nate played the role of Harvey for seven years and was Sabrina’s boyfriend – lucky girl. *SPOILER ALERT* Sabrina even left her fiancee at the altar because she realised that he was her soul mate. Awww.

    Nate Richert – Now

Erm… how could he get even more attractive?! Nate Richert is now the ultimate hipster, and we love it. He has now left the world of acting and hasn’t acted since 2006, but has turned his attention to his music career. He released his own album in 2012 and specialises in indie/vintage/folk music.

Caroline Rhea as Hilda Spellman – Then

Caroline Rhea played the other aunt – Aunt Hilda. Aunt Hilda was the complete opposite to her sister, Zelda. Where Zelda would use her brains and think situations through, Hilda was the fun-loving aunt who sometimes made a few mistakes here and there. We still loved her though, Hilda was super fun. We all wanted a Hilda in our lives.

    Caroline Rhea – Now

Since Sabrina The Teenage Witch ended in 2003, Caroline went on to host three seasons of the American weight-loss show, The Biggest Loser (I wonder if she knew a cheeky weight-loss spell? If so, we need it). She has also appeared on 201 episodes of Phineas and Ferb, where she voiced the character of Linda Flynn-Fletcher. Recently, she has guest starred on 2 Broke Girls and The Grinder.

Paul Feig as Mr. Pool – Then

Aw, Mr. Pool. Paul Feig starred as Sabrina’s biology teacher (her favorite teacher) during high school and even teaches her martial arts during one episode. How cool was he? Unfortunately he only starred in one season because Sabrina passed his class, but he was missed. We still love you, Eugene Pool….

    Paul Feig – Now

Feig has gone from strength to strength after his time on Sabrina The Teenage Witch. He is now most famous for being a film director and producer. He is best known for directing hit films such as Bridesmaids, Ghostbusters (2016 version), The Heat and Spy. So basically all of our favorite movies ever are directed by him. We love you even more, now, Eugene Pool!

Lindsay Sloane as Valerie Birkhead – Then

You probably recognise Lindsay Sloane from seasons one and two of Sabrina The Teenage Witch. She played the role of Valerie Birkhead who was Sabrina’s shy best friend from high school. She didn’t make much of an impact on the show, but she was nice to Sabrina… so we liked her.

    Lindsay Sloane – Now

‘And I’m Big Red…’ remember Bring It On? After Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Lindsay appeared on the teen cheerleading movie as Big Red and has since made small cameos in films and TV shows. She’s been in Entourage, The West Wing, She’s Out Of My League, The Other Guys, Horrible Bosses and How I Met Your Mother. So she’s just chilling and doing her thing.

Nick Bakay as Salem Saberhagen – Then

Okay, he wasn’t really a character. But he was still voiced by Nick Bakay… and how could we miss off Salem! He was the best part about Sabrina The Teenage Witch. It turns out that Salem was a 500-year-old witch who tried to take over the world, so was sentenced to spend 100 years as a cat. That’ll teach him. Even though he does desire world domination, you can’t help but love Salem because he does have a good heart and is a loyal friend to Sabrina.

    Nick Bakay – Now

Nowadays, Nick is most known for his writing. He even wrote a few episodes of Sabrina The Teenage Witch and its cartoon spin-off. He’s since written the hit movie, Paul Blart: Mall Cop and its sequel, and also stepped in as an actor when his schedule permits.

Jenna Leigh Green as Libby Chessler – Then

*Boo* *Hiss* Hands up if you hated Libby Chessler? Jenna Leigh Green starred as Sabrina’s snobby cheerleading enemy in Sabrina The Teenage Witch, and we couldn’t stand her. She appeared in the first three seasons before eventually leaving the show. No offense to you Jenna, but yay…

    Jenna Leigh Green – Now

After her time on Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Jenna Leigh Green has focused her attention on the stage rather than the screen. During the mid ‘00s, Jenna appeared in the hit Broadway musical, Wicked and has made guest appearances on TV shows like Bones and The Simpsons.

Elisa Donovan as Morgan Cavanagh – Then

Elisa Donovan first appeared on Sabrina The Teenage Witch in season five (and onwards) as Sabrina’s friend, Morgan Cavanagh. She was pretty shallow, over-assertive and superficial, but Sabrina still loves her. She even moves into the Spellman household at one point. Fair enough…
