There’s been talk of a Roseanne revival for a while now, but it seems that it might actually happen. The show, which aired on ABC, became a firm favorite of the late ‘80s and ‘90s and we can’t wait to get our nostalgia on. We’ve missed that blue-collar family.
A couple of months ago, the creator of the show announced that she was looking at plans for a revival of the show, and got all of the Roseanne fans excited. But it seems like the plans are firmly in Roseanne Barr’s court – and as the executive producer and star of the show, you’d like to think they would be. Yet it seems Barr has yet to decide whether she wants to bring back the nation’s favorite family, in series of sassy tweets to her followers.
To update her fans, Roseanne Barr kept it short and sweet, saying:
I will let you guys know when/if there is to be a reboot of Roseanne
I’ve already written the scenes about Dan’s death – don’t send me any more suggestions, thnx!
Oooh, sassy. These tweets show us that Roseanne is keeping the whole process close to her chest for the time being. But the fact she’s already written part of the storyline for the potential revival, and will finally answer our question: Is Dan Conner dead or alive?
At the moment, the Hollywood rumor is that John Goodman will be returning to the show, which makes us feel he’s still alive. It’s also been reported that Big Bang Theory star, Johnny Galecki is in the process of signing up to a revival. Of course, all of these are all rumors. But we have a good feeling about this… When will it be aired? On which network (please say Netflix)? Who will be coming back? These are all questions we need answered – and quickly. Let’s hope Roseanne Barr has some more in-depth news for us soon.
