Negan to Be Missing From Entire First Half of Walking Dead Season 8 – WHAT?!

Bu-bu-buuuut Lucille is thirsty!!

Yep, feel free to take the day off work to drown your sorrows by eating two (or ten) tubs of ice cream. And yes, you can adorn your room in Negan posters to get your fix of the leather-clad baddie in your life – because he’s going to be missing from the first half of The Walking Dead season 8 (so you’re gonna need to).

As filming for season 8 gets well underway, we’re getting pretty excited about what’s to come as series bosses have called it one of the most explosive seasons yet, promising an ‘All Out War.’ However, it seems one significant man will be absent from the bloody battles – everyone’s favorite bad boy, Negan.

It appears Negan isn't going to be in the first half of the Walking Dead Season 8

Digital Spy has reported that Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) has been absent from The Walking Dead set – and considering they’ve already filmed episodes 1,2,3,4 and are now filming episode 5, we’re wondering whether he has some kind of holographic image of himself on set. Because if not, he’s not gonna be there for the whole first half of Walking Dead Season 8. And we’re pretty distraught about it.

The whole thing has got even more upsetting, as it’s not like Morgan has anything better to do (I mean, what’s better than The Walking Dead?). Jeffrey Dean Morgan is currently starring alongside Dwayne Johnson in his new movie, Rampage, and has been spotted on set over the past few weeks – you know, when he should have been scaring everyone with Lucille. But there has been no confirmation that this movie role will replace his role as Negan. So where’s he at?

And just to make things even worse – Negan won’t be the only character whose future in The Walking Dead is uncertain. Christian Serratos (Rosita Espinosa) will probably be appearing less on our screen this season as she takes time out to spend time with her newborn baby and family (awwww) and Danai Gurira (Michonne) is currently pretty busy with his role in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War.

We’re sorry for ruining your day.
