Watch Disney’s DuckTales Reboot Opening Sequence and Theme Song

Let’s be honest, we’ve all been dreaming of a day trip to Duckburg for years – and it’s finally happening! But there’s no need to pack your bags, because this time Huey, Dewey and Louie will be coming to us…

Disney has just announced their brand new opening sequence and theme song for the upcoming DuckTales reboot, as well as some insider info on the new series. Check it out:

Because Disney love to go the extra mile for their fans (and for that, we love them) Disney aren’t just giving us the new series. Instead, the premiere will be one long 24hr event. Although the new series won’t air until September 23, DuckTales will debut an hour-long TV movie from midnight on August 12, which will run for 24 CONSECUTIVE HOURS. So get some sleep the night before, because we have to watch all of it. No questions. We’re doing it.

The new TV movie has been titled ‘Woo-oo’ and will follow Donald Duck, Huey, Dewey, and Louie visit their wealthy and reclusive uncle, Scrooge McDuck. While staying at the McDuck Manor, the triplets team up with the housekeeper’s daughter, Webby Vanderquack and uncover some of their family’s hidden secrets – which of course, sends them to the Lost City of Atlantis. Because why not?

And there will also be some other familiar faces – but we won’t spoil the surprise. You’ll have to watch it on August 12…
