Electronic rock band and early ‘00s legends, LCD Soundsystem have FINALLY announced their new album, American Dream, after making all of our nostalgia dreams come true when they reformed in 2015. This will be their fourth studio album after their formation in 2002, and will be released on 1 September 2017. The album will feature two of the songs that were released in May this year, called Call The Police and the album’s namesake, American Dream alongside this epic tracklist:
Oh Baby
Other Voices
I Used To
Change Yr Mind
How Do You Sleep?
Tonite
Call The Police
American Dream
Emotional Haircut
Black Screen
Errrrr, how exciting is this!?
Alongside the new tracks, LCD Soundsystem have also confirmed that they will be embarking on a worldwide tour in September this year. This is the first time the band have toured since their disbandment in 2011, even though they played a variety of festivals last year. So of course, we’re buying tickets ASAP.
Here are all the European dates you need to put in your diary, because you guys need to go too. Tickets go on sale on June 21, so make sure you’re up bright and early to get your hands on them.
