Hello, it’s me…?!

There’s nothing we love more than the Foo Fighters – we love their music, we love Dave Grohl, we love their humor, and we love the fact Grohl got his daughter up on stage with them the other day – but one thing we don’t like is their secrets! In a recent interview, the band has given us some pretty vital info about the Foo Fighters new album but stopped short of giving us the whole she-bang…

During an interview with the BBC about their new album, ‘Concrete And Gold’ (which we can’t wait for BTW) they confirmed that it will feature ‘a bunch of guests’ many of which ‘will really surprise you.

Dave Grohl then went on to tease us with,

There’s one who is probably the biggest pop star in the world and – I’m not kidding – sings backup on one of the heaviest songs on the record and we’re not telling anybody who it is.

PLEASE TELL US WHO IT IS!

Foo Fighters fans have been speculating who this pop star could be, and most have come to the conclusion that they think it’s Adele – which would be super weird, but we reckon it could work. It would also make sense, considering Adele is pretty close with legendary producer, Greg Kurstin, who has previously produced her album and has since worked closely with the Foo Fighters for their new album.

Foo Fighters fans are speculating who the big popstar is on their new album - could it be Adele?

But the excitement doesn’t stop there.

In the same interview, Grohl said,

Without telling anybody, we’ve been in the studio for the last six months, and we made the biggest-sounding Foo Fighters record we’ve ever made. Honestly, I think it’s going to take a lot of people by surprise. Every band says it’s the best record they’ve ever made, but wait till you hear it. It’s definitely the biggest thing we’ve ever done.

Yeah, this is great. And we’re super stoked. But we want the Foo Fighters new album NOW.

However, we’re going to have to wait until September 15 to find out what they’re talking about (hmpffff)…
