We’ve known for a while now that the Star Wars Han Solo spin-off was coming our way pretty soon – and we’ve had a fair few things to say about it. With the awkward firing of Phil Lord and Chris Miller just weeks into the project, with Ron Howard taking over and giving his brother a role, and with everyone everywhere trying to get a glimmer as to what the movie will entail, it’s all been pretty dramatic. Unfortunately, we’re no closer to finding out ANYTHING about the film, and Ron Howard’s latest on-set photo has got us even more confused.
Since Howard took over from Lord and Miller, he’s been notoriously tight-lipped about the in’s and out’s of the so far untitled Han Solo movie. Last week, he reported in an interview that he had to make sure all of the photos he posted on social media didn’t include even ‘a sliver of a spoiler.’ And he’s remained true to that. Try to make any sense out of this one:

Who the heck is that?!
The photo Ron Howard posted to his Twitter account features a mystery woman in a backless dress, facing away from the camera. So your guess is as good as ours. Although it’s impossible to tell much more about the photo, we’re assuming this woman (and her back) could be either one of the two confirmed Han Solo cast members – Emilia Clarke or Phoebe Waller-Bridge. But sources speculate that there are still so many unnamed and unconfirmed females on the set, it really could be anyone.
One thing we do know about the Han Solo spin-off is that it will see Donald Glover step into the shoes of Lando Calrissian. Glover has recently spoken to The Hollywood Reporter (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/features/underestimate-donald-glover-at-your-own-peril-1027636 ) about Ron Howard and his late change-over.
‘Ron is such a legend, and he knows exactly what the vision for what he is doing is…[but Phil and Chris] hired us, so you sort of feel like, ‘I know I’m not your first choice…’ And you worry about that…To be honest, I don’t know exactly what happened.’
Well, it seems Ron is making a great start to the movie, and is still on track to debut in theaters on May 25, 2018.
