Ahhhh, the Han Solo movie. The movie we’re all so looking forward to, but haven’t a clue what’s really going on. Whose fault is that, you ask? RON BLOOMIN’ HOWARD!
Over the last couple of months, director Ron Howard has been pretty darn secretive about the upcoming Han Solo movie – which, of course, we’re going to watch because it’s Star Wars and Star Wars = Life. However, he has let a few snippets of information reach the patiently (and impatiently) waiting fans through his social media profiles. He’s posted behind-the-scenes shots of himself behind the camera (with his iconic baseball cap), he’s also given us a little glimpse at the new R2 Unit, and he’s got us all questioning who the mystery woman is. Now, he’s got us all asking the same question; what is happening in these ‘dark and dangerous’ Han Solo movie photos?
These new photos were posted on Ron Howard’s Twitter and Instagram page. Check them out:

So there you have it. The photos. The photos that make absolutely NO SENSE AT ALL. Come on, Howard, you’re killing us here.
Luckily, Star Wars fans have tried to make sense of the photos and what they mean, and have come up with a few ideas. Although you can’t really see what’s behind the fog in most of the photos, you can see that some of the actors (whoever they may be) are wearing helmets. Could they be Mandalorians? Imperial Officers? Or maybe they’re Death Troopers? We guess we’ll just have to wait until the movie is released (but we’re not happy about it).
The new photos have come at a very poignant time in the Han Solo production, as Ron Howard has now confirmed that Emilia Clarke (who will star as a new character called Kura) has wrapped filming on the set of the movie.

As Emilia Clarke has given the movie a ‘terrifically strong & exciting character’ we’re hoping that means the Han Solo spinoff could be close to wrapping up in its entirety. With a scheduled release date of May 25, 2018, that gives them just enough time to perfect everything – otherwise, Howard will have a hoard of Star Wars fans knocking on his door.
Although, we’re considering doing that anyways, because we’re getting a bit restless with the lack of information now…
