Princes William And Harry Will Have Epic Cameos in Star Wars: The Last Jedi

The Last Jedi will be getting the royal treatment…?

Okay, okay, we know we’ve been banging on about Star Wars for a while now – but in our defense, there’s been a lot to talk about! First of all we had the leaked trailer description, then we had the ACTUAL trailer, then we had the awesome news that Rian Johnson was making a brand new Star Wars trilogy, and now we find out that Prince William and Prince Harry will have cameos in The Last Jedi?! Well, this is all too much for us.

The Last Jedi will be given the royal treatment

Yep, this epic news has been confirmed by John Boyega, who plays Finn in the upcoming Star Wars movie. It’s been reported that the two royals will be taking a trip to the Dark Side and playing Stormtroopers in the eighth installment of the franchise and will appear in a scene with Finn himself. Apparently, he will guard them as they take a trip in an elevator. Because why not, ey? Boyega has said that filming with the royal brothers was a ‘great experience’ and was more ‘fun’ than intimidating. To be fair, if you’re going to film with any of the royals, we can imagine the Princes would be the most fun. We just can’t imagine ol’ Queen Liz would want to brandish her lightsaber anytime soon…

However, Harry and Wills aren’t the only celebs to step foot on the set of The Last Jedi. It’s also been reported that both Gary Barlow (y’know, the legend who basically carried Take That throughout their musical career) and Tom Hardy (acting legend and adorable lover of dogs) will also have cameos as Stormtroopers.

Prince William and Harry will star in upcoming Star Wars movie
This isn’t the first time random famous faces have donned Stormtrooper outfits, though. In Episode VII, James Bond swapped his suit for a Stormtrooper outfit and even had his own line in the movie. Other actors such as Simon Pegg and Bill Hader have also had their chance to explore what life would be like in space. How do we sign up?

Well, as much as this is super cool, it’s making us even more impatient about The Last Jedi, which will be released on December 15. Hurry up!
