We’re gonna be honest with you, we’re not exactly sold on the new Tomb Raider movie. Of course, we’ll give Oscar-winner Alicia Vikander the benefit of the doubt – because it can’t be easy to fill Angelina Jolie’s shoes (because is anyone better than Angelina Jolie? We think not). Nevertheless, critics have so far been impressed with the trailer (which you can find here) and the all-star cast.
This Warner Bros. production will follow the life of the awesome Lara Croft as she embarks on a mission to find her missing father. She leaves behind her monotonous life as a London bike courier (which of course, she did with style. She is Lara Croft, after all) and takes herself off to the coast of Japan, to find a hidden cave in a mythical land. You know, as you do. But of course, this is a Hollywood movie, so it’s not going to be as easy as taking the next Japan Airlines flight and rocking up to the cave. Instead, she’s gonna have to be one tough cookie.
Judging by the trailer and the movie posters, Alicia Vikander has got it in her to be one sassy son of a gun to complete her mission. However, film fanatics have noticed something a little strange about the newest Tomb Raider poster release. See if you can spot it:

Notice anything funny? Perhaps…maybe…A SUPER LONG AND CREEPY NECK?! From various other photographs of the new Lara Croft, we can tell that Alicia Vikander doesn’t actually have the neck of a raptor from Jurassic Park. So, we call this an epic photoshop fail.
Because movie fans are the best (we love you guys), those who have noticed the photoshop fail have taken to Twitter to share their own adaptations of the movie poster. And they are absolutely brilliant.
The only way Vikander’s neck makes sense in this poster is if the movie was originally TOMB RAPTOR. pic.twitter.com/VfDRk5mFIU
