Our favorite day of the year has finally come around again, and we’re going to make the most of it. As true Star Wars fans, we just have to. You know, it’s part of the job. And we want you guys to get involved too. So call your boss and pull a sickie, because you need to celebrate May 4th in style. And if you need some inspiration, here are some epic ways to celebrate Star Wars Day…

Have an epic Star Wars Marathon

    Star Wars Day
What could be better than watching all of the epic films in one go? On Star Wars Day of all days! Get all of your friends and family together, buy a heck load of popcorn, and settle yourself down in front of your TV to watch the franchise. But where do you start? Well, that’s down to you. Stick with the originals, watch the newbies, or mix them all together. It’s your day – you choose.

    Dress Up

Okay, so we’ll think of any excuse to dress up – and May 4th is the best excuse of them all. If you can’t take the day off, why not wear your favorite Star Wars T-Shirt and Darth Vader mask in the office? But if you’re not at work, well…you can go the whole hog. Get your friends involved, get your pets involved, let’s turn the whole world into a galaxy far far away.

Cook up some Star Wars recipes

If you’re looking for some snacks to aid your movie marathon, they just have to be Star Wars themed. It would be rude not to. There are hundreds of Star Wars recipes online, and StarWars.com even has their own section dedicated to the food and recipes from the movies. So if you’re bored of your Pick ‘n’ Mix, switch it up and try a bit of Blue Milk, Yoda’s root leaf stew or a few Kanjiklub sandwiches. Yum.

    Buy some Star Wars merch

If you’re a true Star Wars fan, there’s a high chance that you probably have way too much Star Wars merchandise to count. Whether it’s clothing, memorabilia, comics, or figurines – you probably have them all. But it’s never enough. So empty your pockets and buy the latest Millennium Falcon Lego set, a ridiculously expensive gold Darth Vader helmet, or buy your R2-D2 Build-A-Bear. Either way, MORE MERCH.

    Get a tattoo

So you’ve been thinking about getting that Star Wars tattoo for a while now, but never really had the guts to do it. Do you really need that Rebel Alliance symbol on your arm? Erm, we vote yes. And what better day to do it on than Star Wars Day? You know you want to.

    Pass on your wisdom

Because we all want to be like Yoda, right? Well, he says, ‘Pass on what you have learned.’ And, you know, you HAVE to do what Yoda says. So pass on your own Star Wars knowledge onto a younger sibling, cousin, niece, nephew, random person on the street (just kidding, don’t do that) and get them hooked too.

    Happy Star Wars Day!
