Have you ever loved your Nintendo game so much you wished Willy Wonka would lend you his TV-shrinking machine so you could live inside the colorful digital world with Mario and Luigi as your best friends? Yep, us too.
Well, we’ve got some pretty incredible news for video game fans.
Universal Studios and Nintendo have now released the first official teaser trailer for their brand new Super Nintendo World. This is not a drill. There really is going to be a Nintendo World theme park!

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until 2020 for the park to be finished at Universal Studios Japan – but don’t worry if you can’t travel that far. Because it seems the team is already making plans to bring a similar world to the Orlando and Los Angeles Universal Studios.
On the back of the teaser trailer, Nintendo has released a press statement about the new park:
Super Nintendo World will be comprised of expansive and multi-level environments filled with unprecedented, state-of-the-art rides, interactive areas, shops and restaurants, all featuring Nintendo’s most popular characters and games.
We’re so into this.
At the moment, there’s no more news about what kind of rides we can expect to find at the new park, but we’ve heard through the grapevine that there may be some kind of Mario-Kart style driving experience on offer – we just hope there aren’t any pesky banana skins about…
