There’s nothing we love more than the Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and all things J.R.R Tolkien – because when you have Hobbits, Elves and magical rings in your lives, what more do you need? Answer: Absolutely nothing. Nevertheless, when it comes to our fondness for all things nerdy, video games come pretty close to our love for Middle Earth (i.e our ultimate dream vacation destination). Luckily, there’s now an all-new Middle Earth: Shadow of War trailer to get our geeky emotions running high. Check it out:
The new game is the brainchild of Monolith Productions and Neil Huxley, and is set to serve as a sequel to Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, which was released in 2014. And judging by the new trailer, it’s going to be epic. Although the video game has been on its marketing run for a while now, the new trailer serves as something completely unique and exciting for those who can’t wait for its release (like us). With an interactive aspect to it, the trailer allows you to battle your way through Middle Earth, through armies of Orcs, humungous trolls and enemy drakes. Then, it’s time for you to make your own decisions – will you save, or will you slay? Once you’ve made your decision, you’ll be transferred to the Middle Earth: Shadow of War website which will show you the full trailer. It’s so worth it.
What’s even more exciting about Middle Earth: Shadow of War (apart from the epic trailer) is that this new video game will feature the hugely successful Nemesis System which also appeared in Shadow of Mordor – but this time, it will be bigger and it will be better. Of course, those of you who know what this is will realize that this is a really big deal. Like, really big. The Nemesis System allows your Middle Earth enemies and allies to remember your past adventures with them, which will then, in turn, affect the rest of your game. So if you’ve made a few enemies along the way, you’ll want to avoid running into them again…
Middle Earth: Shadow of War is set to drop in stores on October 10, 2017 and will be available for Xbox One, PC, and Playstation 4.
