Let’s be honest, we just really want to be best friends with Millie Bobby Brown. She just gets cooler and cooler every day. We couldn’t think of anything better than sharing a few Eggos with her (you know, while avoiding the Demogorgons). And now, she’s proved just how amazing she is as she stands up to bullies in the best way.
The 13-year-old British actress who stars as Eleven in Netflix’s Stranger Things (but of course you know that) has always stood up for what she believes in – which is drastically different to us at 13. All we really cared about was keeping our Tamagotchi alive. However, Bobby Brown is the breath of fresh air we all need; using her platform to stand up to bullying and cyberbullying with her brand new Twitter account.
Millie Bobby Brown has spoken to The Wrap about her experience with bullying.
I was seven when I was bullied by a boy. No hard feelings, I got over it, but I did have to move schools because it was very hard, and I felt like I couldn’t talk to anyone. I would talk to my parents of course, but it’s annoying because you don’t want to leave a school where you have your best friends at.
Since this interview, Millie Bobby Brown has brought bullying to the attention of her followers on Twitter.
Any kind of bullying is not okay. Internet bullying is also a major problem. Please don’t sit in silence❤️#StandUptoBullyingDay pic.twitter.com/BZx4lnAsxn

Now, Bobby Brown has created an all-new Twitter account separate to her own personal account. @Milliestopshate now has over 11,000 followers, and wishes to ‘share love and positivity. Let’s stop bullying.’
Be sure to taste your words before you spit them out.

This new account comes after singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran deleted (and then re-enacted) all of his social media accounts after reading all of the negative comments.
Speaking to The Sun, Sheeran said,
I go on it and there’s nothing but people saying mean things. One comment ruins your day. But that’s why I’ve come off it.
Go, Millie!
