Okay, we’ll be honest – we absolutely love Britney Spears. However, we do have to admit that in the past she has been caught out for her lip-syncing (because who wants to spend mountains of dollars to see someone just move their mouth?). However, as she gets herself ready for a long-awaited performance in Israel, Britney has quashed the rumors that she will be going back to her lip-syncing ways. Thank goodness.
Britney rejected the rumors during a phone interview with Channel 2, where she was asked out-right whether she would sing her epic songs (which we all absolutely LOVE, btw) live.
‘I’m glad you’re addressing this question,’ she began, as she then went on to complain that these rumors were:
really p**sing me off because I’m busting my a** out there and singing at the same time.
Although she did confirm there will be ‘a little bit of playback, there’s a mixture of my voice and the playback. A lot of people think I don’t do live because I’m dancing so much. Nobody ever really gives me credit for [working so hard].’
Dang, we feel bad now.
Britney will be performing on Monday 3 July as part of her Britney: Live in Concert world tour, which will take place at Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park. The long-awaited performance in Israel has been the work of incredible preparation, and money, costing her team over $2 million to get it together on time.
