IT TV Trailer Has Even More Footage (And Has Got Us Terrified)

NOPE.

When it comes to Stephen King, we kinda find ourselves in between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand, the man is an absolute genius and has brought us some of the best books and movies in the world, ever. On the other hand, THEY ARE SO DARN SCARY. And the new Andres Muschietti movie adaptation TV trailer for IT has got us shaking in our boots.

New TV trailer released for IT movie

The new IT TV spot has come from Warner Bros. Pictures Latinoamerica (which means that this movie is probably going to take over every single box office in the world when it is released) and opens with Eddie unwittingly stumbling upon a clown. But not the kinda funny and jokey clown you’d hang out with at a kids party. You know who we mean. Pennywise. *Shudders*

Although we’ve had a glimpse at the haunting features of Pennywise in previous trailers, this one is something else (and that something being the thing of nightmares). As Eddie stumbles upon the red-balloon-holding Pennywise, this extended scene offers a little something something extra – even though we didn’t ask for it. Yep, Pennywise has his own voiceover. Because, you know, he does that now.

As the trailer continues, we get a glimpse into some of the intense and scary cut shots we can expect from the movie. And we’re intrigued. Yet also completely terrified. You can see it below(if you dare):

Since he took on the role, Andres Muschietti has promised Stephen King fans that he would keep his adaptation as close to the original novel as possible. However, it was confirmed this week that the run-time for this movie would exceed two hours – which means he’s either going to drag the storyline out (like, a lot) or he’s going to add in a few extra treats. We’re expecting the latter.

IT will star Bill Skarsgard, Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Sophia Lillis, Nicolas Hamilton and more, and will be released on September 8, 2017. Yep, that really is next month, so you better get as much sleep as you can now, because we can’t guarantee you’ll be getting any after…
