US Postal Service Issues Stamps Starring Disney Villains

NOOOOOO ONEEEEEEE STAMPS LIKE GASTON, NO ONE SENDS LETTERS LIKE GASTON!

Let’s be honest, Disney is life. And we will buy anything Disney, because we have to (they should really make it a law). And now, you can send your letters with Disney villains on them, and we’ve suddenly realized what we’ve been missing in our lives…

The ingenious artists of the Walt Disney Studios are being celebrated in a new stamp sheet that will unite Disney fans across the world. The United States Postal Service made the villainous announcement at the D23 expo this weekend and released this statement.

The Postal Service is highlighting the Disney villains and the pioneering spirit of the Ink and Paint Department that brought many of these characters to life. These Forever Stamps are our way of saying Disney Villains will forever entertain us and serve as a tribute Disney’s artistry and storytelling skill.

Just don’t go sending any poisoned apples in the post.

The incredible new stamp sheets feature ten of the best Disney villains of all time – Sleeping Beauty’s Maleficent, 101 Dalmatians Cruella De Vil, Pinocchio’s Honest John, Beauty and the Beast’s Gaston, The Little Mermaid’s Ursula, Cinderella’s Lady Tremaine, Peter Pan’s Captain Hook, Alice In Wonderland’s Queen of Hearts, Snow White’s The Queen, and The Lion King’s Scar. And they’re pretty darn amazing. The sheet offers 20 stamps against an evil blue backdrop, and can be bought for $9.80. Naturally, we’ve already bought 200. Because Disney.

This isn’t the first time the United States Postal Service has memorialized our favorite characters on their postage stamps. Earlier this year, the USPS released an epic 75th anniversary commemorative Batman stamp. We’re hoping for a full Disney Princes and Princesses set next…
